A set of definitions and descriptions of some of the major areas of AI are presented. Examples are provided using radar terminology to illustrate concepts presented. Finally we present a description of those technologies being pursued by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) for building the Semantic Web or the next generation Internet. The Semantic Web is perceived by some as being a very large knowledge base. 收起
