摘要: A theory that can be used to predict hydraulic ram pressures generated by small arms ammunition is presented, together with the description of a method that can be used to calculate the resultant pressure loading which acts on air... 展开 A theory that can be used to predict hydraulic ram pressures generated by small arms ammunition is presented, together with the description of a method that can be used to calculate the resultant pressure loading which acts on aircraft fuel-cell walls. Using a simplified model of the wall response, the pressure field resulting from the ballistic penetration of a fuel cell is calculated and compared with experiment. Results from this calculation are used to illustrate the hydrodynamic processes occurring during penetration. Agreement between experiment and theory was quite good. (Author) 收起
