It was revised in September 1992 to include additional information acquired during the conduct of the August 1990-March 1991 Persian Gulf War. After describing the general geography of land areas in the Middle East Peninsula, the study discusses major meteorological features of the entire study area. Each major subregion (based on climatic commonality ) is then broken into its own geography and general weather sections.
