Primary emphasis is placed upon determination of areas favorable for cyclogenesis. Intensification and movement of the 500mb low as a function of 500mb height falls tendency is presented. Identification, intensification, and movement of the main surface system is then introduced. Finally, the related developments at all levels of the atmosphere, as they occurred during the January 1975 Blizzard, are shown. (Author) 收起
