The potential of improving the Human Machine Interface of unit level maintenance and supply software, such as ULLS (Unit Level Logistics System), is very attractive. A prototype was implemented in GLAD (Graphics Language for Database). GLAD is a graphics object-oriented environment for databases that gives novice and sophisticated users access to both data manipulation and program development through visual interaction. This thesis provided an extension to GLAD to demonstrate the ability to couple bitmap displays to database queries.
