This report provides a summary of audit and investigative activities conducted at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the African Development Foundation (ADF) and the Inter-American Foundation (IAF) for the period of April 1, 2001 through September 30, 2001. During this period the OIG issued 309 audit reports with monetary recommendations valued in excess of $35 million, closed 80 investigations, and achieved savings and recoveries of $53.8 million. This report presents the accomplishments of the Office of Inspector General (OIG) the U.S. Agency for International Development for the period April 1, 1999 through September 30, 1999. During this Semiannual period the OIG issued 398 audit reports with monetary recommendations valued at $59.2 million, closed 105 investigations, and achieved recoveries of about $635,000 in support of AID's programs and operations. 收起
