One of the most important... 展开 When developing new systems for command and control you need methods to evaluate the effects of different solutions whether it concerns modifications of doctrine, organization, staff or technical systems. One of the most important issues for Command and Control is to mediate the Commander's Concept of Operation. This Concept is based on an interpretation of the actual situation on the Operation Map and a prediction of the course of events. The aim of this study was the development of a viable method for measuring operational officers' level of common situation awareness in dynamic decision making situations. This study was performed during the annual Joint Exercises of the National Defense College (FHS). In order to estimate the situation awareness of the staffs, the operational officers of the staffs were given questionnaires. They were asked to estimate what they, at the present time, considered the most important tasks of the joint command, their own personal need of information, and what they believed to be the most important need of information for each of the other operational officers in the staff. In addition their answers of questions about underlying factors, their personal views about the exercise and the technical support, are shown. 收起
