The committee, made up of human resource experts, examined Federal workforce quality initiatives to date and provided expert advice on how to proceed. OPM's Personnel Resources and Development Center (PRDC) was given responsibility for the workforce quality program. A strategy was developed to collect, analyze, and disseminate information on the quality of Federal applicants, employees, and organizations. This takes into account individual effectiveness, the competencies employees need to be successful in their jobs, and organizational effectiveness, the characteristics of high performing organizations. For the last seven years, PRDC has been evaluating these dimensions over time to determine areas of progress and needed improvement. 收起
