The two main topics discussed are methods of corrosion testing and methods of corrosion control. The test methods which have been successful in evaluating the materials and properties which influence the corrosion of steel in concrete are as follows: low-level chloride determination, tidal effects, and spray bar/tank system. The results of the methods studied for corrosion control are categorized into four areas: concrete quality, protection at the steel/concrete interface, protection at the concrete surface, and cathodic protection. 收起
