The trends of transformation temperature versus number of cycles were correlated with observed microstructure. Specimens were examined through transmission electron microscopy techniques. The character of lattice defects and residual structures in the parent phase provided an understanding of substructural conditions enhancing martensite formation and reversion. (Author) 收起
