The analysis includes the ground transmitting system, airborne automatic flight control system, pilot and copilot operating in the system, and crew procedures. Actual data from Category III experience in a specially equipped C-141 aircraft, along with equipment failure data from C-141 fleet experience was used to test and confirm the modeling techniques.
