The results show that the H sub 2 O-HDO-D sub 2 O liquid mixture can be considered as an ideal solution within the limits of the presently available data. The present investigation supports the earlier conclusion that the law of the geometric mean for the vapour pressure isotope effect in the series H sub 2 O, HDO and D sub 2 O is not obeyed.
