The project was terminated in 1978 and in the final report some of the most important findings are briefly reviewed. Concrete as an electrolytical system; sea salts and alkalinity of concrete; diffusion of sea salts into concrete; electrical resistivity; availability of oxygen; corrosion properties of reinforcing steel; cathodic protection; and field control and corrosion monitoring are dealt with. 61 references, 8 drawings.
