The evaluation was conducted from 22 F... 展开 This paper describes the second evaluation (E2) of state-of-the-atmospherevariables (SAVs) derived from the Mesoscale Analysis and Prediction System (MAPS) Surface Assimilation System (MSAS). The evaluation was conducted from 22 February through 10 March 1992 using a verification dataset obtained from the Stormscale Operational and Research Meteorology-Fronts Experiment Systems Test (STORM-FEST). For verification purposes, MSAS produced analyses at specific surface station locations for 3 March through 10 March 1992. The results from MSAS are compared to surface analyses from MAPS. 收起
