The general ideas of supersymmetry are explained and a description of the Minimal (M) SSM is given. The importance of investigating whether nature is described by a supersymmetric theory, to see whether the supersymmetric particles can be produced in (future) high energy colliders, is addressed. The production of a squark pair in ep collisions is studied. The calculations for HERA, a possible upgrade of HERA, and the LEP/LHC collider are done within, the MSSM. The squark pair is produced and each squark is considered to decay very rapidly into a quark and a photino. Since the photinos of the MSSM escape the detector unobserved and are recognized by missing momentum, like the neutrino of the SM, all processes with neutrinos in the final state are studied for the HERA collider. These calculations give the possibility to do further research on W and Z bosons. The production and the signal coming from sleptons and squarks for several processes at the ep collider at LEP/LHC are studied. A demonstration of the extraction of the supersymmetric signal from the SM background processes is given. In particular the large backgrounds due to single W and Z production are considered. 收起
