In support of this, two sets of RP-3A aircraft flights collected 180 AXBT (air deployed expendable bathythermograph) depth-temperature profiles in the Iceland-Faeroe Frontal Zone between Iceland and the Faeroe Islands. The first two flights took place on 7 and 8 June 1989, and the second flight on 19 June. This technical note describes the experimental plan and the data acquisition and processing techniques used and presents the resulting data in graphical and tabular form. 收起
