Methodology: Web cont... 展开 Purpose : The study to know the status and evaluate the eight national-level library associations in India, which have been indexed on the American Library Association and Indian Library Association websites. Methodology: Web content analysis and webometric analysis methods were adopted. The raw data for the study was collected from Moz regarding Domain Authority, Page Authority, External and Internal links of 8 national-level library associations in India. A well-structured checklist having 19 criteria was constructed to retrieve the data from the respective library association websites. Finding : The study's significant findings reveal that CGLA has the highest 63.15% of features mentionedin the checklist, followed by IASLIC and ILA (57.89%). Further, the study also found that the IASLIC website has the highest Domain Authority, Page Authority, and External Links, whereas SIS has the highest Internal and Total links. On the other hand, in the web impact factor, the SALIS website has the highest SWIF and IWIF, and the IATLIS website has the highest EWIF. In contrast, ILA is revealed to have the lowest SWIF, IWIF, and EWIF. Value: Websites are one of the key information sources. Organisations should maintain websites that are free from mistakes. This type of website evaluation study helps organisations to maintain their websites. 收起
