Methodology: Data was retrieved from Web of Science databases. The scope was delimited to the documents in english language of the library and information science domain published during 1989 to 2021. Findings: The research reveals that there is steady growth in research on reading. Journals are preferred for publishing research on reading. Author's productivity pattern endorse Lotka 's Law and the core list of journals satisfies with Bradford's Law. Originality: This original research is valuable in understanding the trends in research on reading. 收起
