Fostering Authenticity in Entrepreneurship Education" (Byr... 展开 Over the past two years, I have had the honor of working with a team of talented authors and developmental reviewers to bring to publication the manuscript "What about Us? Fostering Authenticity in Entrepreneurship Education" (Byrne, Shantz, & Bul-lough, 2023). In this manuscript Dr. Byrne, Dr. Shantz, and Dr. Bullough explore how entrepreneur-ship education can assist individuals in developing a more authentic sense of self. Beyond contributing to current understanding of how students learn through entrepreneurship education, these authors also are extending the boundaries of who entrepreneurship education is for-in this case bringing this pedagogy to women survivors of violence. The first two authors continue to enhance our learning from this manuscript in the accompanying essay, "A Tale of Trauma, Friendship and Personally Relevant Research." The authors bravely take us behind the curtain to share how their personal relationship to this research affected the research process, their collaboration, and their journey toward publication. In so doing, this essay extends current understanding of personally relevant research (Jones & Bartunek, 2020). 收起
