But how often do such infiltration water problems occur in practice? Are only a few plants affected, or do numerous operators of drainage systems have to struggle with excessive amounts of infiltration water? Based on an evaluation of current data from Baden-Wuerttemberg's Regional Statistical Office, the paper gives a comprehensive overview of how frequently ,,too much" infiltration water occurs in sewage works. Furthermore, an analysis of statistical data allows for a thorough assessment, based on a broad data basis, of different potential factors that influence the amount of infiltration water reported annually. 收起
