A concept of Intelligent Monitoring System ... 展开 This paper discusses selected aspects of fuzzy logic (FL) application in machine monitoring and diagnostics. In the first part of the paper, a general idea of FL application is depicted. A concept of Intelligent Monitoring System is defined and its practical implementation in the form of Intelligent Monitoring System Designer is considered. Then, a short characteristics of the applied FL system is presented. The discussion focuses on methods for designing of fuzzy rule base. In the second part of the paper, selected examples of FL system application are shown in order to analyse applicability of the considered methods. The cutting tool wear monitoring is analysed. Thermal deformation monitoring and burr height modelling are shortly discussed, as well. In addition, the results achieved with the feed forward back propagation neural network are presented to generalise the assessment of performance of the FL systems designed. 收起
