Due to lack of knowledge about the human... 展开 This work covers several aspects of the perception of brake pedal vibration and brake noise, which are excited by braking control systems in vehicles, such as antilock braking system (ABS). Due to lack of knowledge about the human perception of brake pedal vibration alone and in combination with brake noise, as it always occurs in the vehicle, the development goals for such systems could so far not be clearly defined, which may result in either no perceptible improvement or "over-engineering". The topic is investigated in terms of absolute and relative foot vibration perception thresholds, the annoyance of sound and vibration alone as well as of combined sound and vibration, respectively. Models are developed for the prediction of these annoyances using instrumental variables. With the results of this work it is now possible to define the development goals with respect to the customer perception and to focus further research on topics not yet addressed here. 收起
